anyway, it's their marketing choice. for sure they would sell more than a few framesets, not every buyer wants to buy a complete bike with the group and wheels it comes out with. I wouldn't put mavic or zipp wheels if I buy a Foil. cheaper no name deng-fu wheels anyone?

Got any idea when these will be avalable to the public?. i was looking at up grading in say 10-12 weeks time and will be ripping all the parts of the team and sticking other stuff on. now im thinking i may be better of going for the frameset as it will be cheaper.
Cheers

One of my LBS has them in stock. Several frames/models and sizes from the Premium on down. No other dealer in the are has them. Owner was riding the Premium around for awhile with DI2. He is a Cat 1/2 rider.
He said he thinks he likes it better than his custom guru and prefers the Foil.
No idea about Framesets. Best bet is to buy the complete bike, sell the crap you don't want off of it and transfer parts from another rig etc...then wait for frame to show up.

I've been hearing first-hand similar consensus from both shop owners and folks who bought a FO1L to add to their stable. Despite their other bikes being custom Serottas, Gurus, Cervelo, Wilier, Colnago, Specialized (Venge!) and other high-zoot frames, they've all referred to the FO1L as being better.

It's the best race bike I've ridden this year.

Same here, we have a couple in our shop. Iv got a team on back order and its due to come in mid November
. Although the team issue and premium issue are only gonna be order bikes and you wont be able to test ride it?, seems stupid to me.
Iv seen the 20 and the finish on it is sweet so i carnt wait for mine to come it

Ordered a Foil 15 with the Ultegra Di2 but i don't ecpect to see it until the last week of Dec. or maybe Jan? Size 58, gonna be a hard bike to get I think if I wait till spring and my LBS won't bring one in otherwise. I test rode a 56cm mechanical Ultegra and really liked it. Haven't tried the Di2 stuff yet, but I went out on a limb and assumed i'd like it. I haven't had a road bike for over a year and admittedly bought way more bike than I needed, but the price was great and I thought WTF.
Came home and hopped on this thread and saw this for the first time and registered for this forum I was so excited about my purchase I just had to tell some more people.
I went in thinking i'd buy the CR1, and after test riding it I liked it, but it wasn't the Foil, though I did really like it, it just wasn't as fast. However it was quite a bit less money, but apparently not less enough.

The ultegra Di2 is just awesome. You can ride like a complete idiot and it shifts perfectly every time. I've been eying a Foil R15 too trying to figure out if I can flip my Addict R1 for enough money to get the R15.
- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago

You had me at idiot
. I simply cannot wait for this bike. It is going to be a LONG winter.....My LBS is supposed to be getting a Madone 5.9 with the Di2 stuff on it and hopefully that comes in before the snow flies so I can take that for a spin. Although I don't know why, I ordered the Foil and riding the Di2 on the Madone is just gonna make the winter that much longer!

Hey guys, I see that your all talking about which foil your going to get and when so I thought I should put mine out there too. The LBS that I work at was able to get me in a team issue foil last week which I'm stoked about, although I carnet have it till the 15th of November after my exams
. Super *f##k* hot and when I took it for a quick test ride I jizzed my pants. It handles awesome, and when you put the power down it a sprint from a slow starting speed it takes off crazily fast. I'm very pleased with how it's turned out and am dyeing to ride it full time
I'll try take a picture of it tomorrow and give you guys a quick look at it, it insanely hot

As promised here is a quick picture of it from behind, sorry bout the bad quality but i took the picture on my iphone. I didnt set this up but personally i like have the giants are in the back ground and show how chalk and cheese the two bikes are.

Hi guys,
Take a look at the "results" page of the Foil:
http://www.scott-sports.com/us_en/foil/results
Now, I'm a BIG scott fan and I own two Addicts, but, doesn't it seem strange, that they don't compare stiffness of the frame to any of the newer Specialized models? They only compare it to the SL2 model, which is kinda old. The SL3 has been out for quite some time now (so much that there's SL4), and It's said that the SL3 is much stiffer since it has a completely redesigned bottom bracket area compared to SL2. Just a thought...
