The AMDA Gap Programs unite college-age students, betwixt 18-25, from all over the world for an urban performing arts hazard and a culturally immersive feel. In addition to receiving world-course preparation, students explore New York Urban center through weekly excursions and activities that include trips to Broadway shows, studio tours, landmark attractions, museums, and more. The AMDA Gap Program is ideal for students who want to explore the performing arts, swoop into unfamiliar territory and make lifelong friendships.

AMDA offers both an eight-week Summertime or Fall option and a 3-week Winter choice.

    • 8-Weeks: The 8-week programs (Summer or Fall) give students an extended immersive feel with classes Monday-Thursday in their chosen discipline and cultural activities organized by our department on Saturdays. The goals of the program are exposure to NYC through cultural experiences, growth in the pupil'due south chosen bailiwick, a concluding operation, and an opportunity to audition for AMDA college.

  • WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE LIKE FOR ORIENTATION Day? + −

    Arrival time for registration and move-in (for those living on campus) will be between 11am – 2pm at the dorm location designated to y'all on the first solar day of the program.   • WILL I HAVE A ROOMMATE? + −

    All dorms and buildings accept security guards posted in our buildings 24/seven. The students will as well accept a Staff fellow member living in the dorms with them to assist with any needs that may arise throughout the programme.

  • WHAT TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED? + −

    The students volition be responsible for finding their own transportation throughout the program.
